We’ve got a hot lineup of hilarious acts for Wednesday Night Comedy at The Avenue! Frank Imaan Hadchiti (Balls of Steel, Wilfred) is our internationally-touring headliner and Dan Willis from the UK hosts an incredible lineup. Book a table before we fill up - (07) 5592 1678.
Don't miss Frank in his set of well travelled, insightful comedy. Lebanese by blood, Australian by birth, European by 2020. With over 12 years of performing and 5 continents later, Frank is always ready to deliver his disarmingly cheeky and honest comedy. Frank has had repeat sell out shows at Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe & Melbourne International Comedy Festivals spanning over four shows. He has just come back from a fresh tour of his new show 'The Lesbian Whisperer'
Standing at just 3.4 ft, Frank holds a Guinness World Record, for 'The Worlds Shortest (full- time) Comedian'; finally, all of his hard work of breathing and continuing to exist has paid off. But that is all secondary information Frank has forged himself as an Internationally renowned comedian. As a shameless, self promoting, independent artist, there is an obligation to mention that in his year career he has performed festivals all around the world from Australia and the UK. Recently he has moved to the booming comedy scene in Berlin. An original, risk taking and soul searching comedian, Frank possesses an authentically distinct point of view many fear or fail to see. As seen on The Morning After’ NBC, 'You Can't Ask That’ ABC, ‘Balls of Steel’ Comedy Central, ‘Wilfred’ SBS TV, '

“Part dirty, part heart-wrenching, part touching and all-exposing'' ★★★★ Adelaide Advertiser
'..top quality stand up' ★★★★ Mumble Comedy
“...has his audience hooting with laughter.” ★★★★ Edinburgh Spotlight
In 2002 after winning the Time-Out Competition to be a Perrier judge at the Edinburgh festival, Dan Willis made the move from computer programmer to full time comedian. The IT crash also made this move slightly easier, if not essential- you’ve got to see the funny side of things after all. Willis performed in Edinburgh for the first time in 2002 with the Amused Moose Hot Starlets, a showcase of comedians including Greg Davies, Matthew Osborn, Nina Conti, Rhod Gilbert and fellow North-Easterner Patrick Monaghan. Now, after over 2000 gigs in 11 different countries, including TV appearances in the UK and Australia. Willis performs in all major comedy clubs as a headline act or MC (Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Comedy Central, etc), and International festivals throughout the globe performing solo shows (New Zealand and Melbourne Comedy Festivals, Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringes to name but a few).
