Bob Franklin (Please Like Me, Thank God You’re Here), a true legend of Australian comedy, is joining us as your headline act this week and we cannot wait! Joining him to host, Greg Sullivan (Triple M, The Project) is also taking over the back room for a top night of laughs. Bob Franklin is an award-winning comedian, writer, director, author and actor. On Australian television, Franklin was both writer and performer on Jimeoin (1994), Shaun Micallef's World Around Him (1996), Small Tales & True (1998), Eric (1997), The Mick Molloy Show (1999) and Introducing Gary Petty (2000), in which he played the title role and received an Australian Writers' Guild award nomination. Franklin made several appearances on Thank God You're Here and Talking ‘bout Your Generation; and has featured in sitcoms such as The Librarians (2007-10), Upper Middle Bogan (2013), Worst Year of My Life Again (2014) and Please Like Me (2013). Franklin has appeared in several Australian films, including The Craic (1999), You Can't Stop The Murders (2003), Bad Eggs (2003), The Extra (2005), Macbeth (2006), BoyTown (2006) The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce (2008),Three Blind Mice (2008) and Beneath Hill 60 (2010).

 

Greg “Sully” Sullivan is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer and broadcaster. Since beginning his comedic career in 1995, he has performed at the famous Improv in Los Angeles, appeared on numerous TV shows and embodied a vast range of roles for Triple M Brisbane, spanning an incredible 14 years. Greg has performed on television, radio, in theatres, overseas, to corporate bigwigs and to smalls groups of disinterested tradesmen whilst standing on the back of a ute. He has written columns for Bean Scene Magazine and jokes for the NRL Footy Show and has even written material for Rich Hall, which was used in his Edinburgh Comedy Festival show.

 

As you can see, he'll pretty much do anything for money.

 

Greg has also performed at major festivals such as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala and has appeared on television shows such as Good News Week, Home Delivered Humour, O'Loghlin on Saturday Night, The Today Show and A Current Affair.
